I love the insurance claim take. If your a small business that got culturally enriched why wouldn't you just take the insurance claim and call it a day. I look forward to the future pbs documentary about the lack of businesses and food deserts in these communities while completely ignoring why they actually aren't there
There’s a phrase I love, which is ‘cutting off your nose to spite your face’, which is absolutely happening here.
Businesses will absolutely move out, and taxes are going to rise. These people are rending a dismal future upon everyone there. We can at least take glee that they’ll suffer from it too.
