Police and prison guard unions are the worst public unions but the teacher's union gets way too much support for what it dies, it basically holds kid's education hostage every few years in Chicago. Private unions are good, public unions are an abomination.
I have to disagree, private unions serve a purpose as a counter balance to ownership. I understand your opinion and it has some good arguments but overall laborers need to be able to coordinate in the same way the capital can coordinate. Private unions solve a game theory problem where individual workers are incentivized to defect against their peers in negotiations.

100% agree. If you’re going to arrest someone because they were seen by a window with a rifle, you should be concerned when they keep reaching behind them.
But also telling someone who is 3 times over the legal limit to do 100 ridiculous and conflicting commands and shooting him when he pulls his pants up while crawling towards you on your command is a joke. There was no reason why he couldn’t have been approached while he had his hands in the air and on his knees, or while he was laying down with his fingers interlaced on his head.
