I've oft praised Harry Potter as a literary masterpiece the likes of which the world has never seen, but this? Ms. Rowling has shown herself to be a disgusting transphobe I simply can not support.
My runner-up for best novel of the modern era, Robert Munsch's "Mmm, Cookies!", has now taken it's rightful place at the top of my list.
