To the wonderful users and community of r/DeuxRAMA,
Yesterday, June 9, 2020, I signed this sub onto the open letter organized chiefly by /r/AgainstHateSubreddits, which sought to speak out against and address the hypocrisy of Reddit, as well as the presence and prevalence of racism and hatred on this site.
While I know there is controversy surrounding r/AgainstHateSubreddits, I believe that joining this open letter is more important than ignoring it because that sub has its flaws.

P.S. I hope all of you are in good health, and if you are able, please go protest. We cannot stand by as our brothers and sisters are oppressed by a failing system. We were failed and oppressed by the system many times over the millennia, it is our duty to stand up for others.
