It's a pretty good article and Rowling obviously isn't some trans hating conservative. She is just worried that activists, the NHS, academia, and she even brings up reddit (she implies Deuxrama) are fighting to subvert the evaluation process before someone transitions. All of this is factually correct and there is a push from all sides that any hurdle to prevent someone transitioning, even if its as trivial as waiting until being a certain age, makes you a terf.

Highly rated and possibly the best book in the Harry Potter Franchise.

They’re legitimately good books for what they are. They’re not some deep philosophical memoir or anything, it’s just a few kids who love in a world of wizards and magic, nothing more and they do a good job at building that fantasy world.

The world building is mediocre at best. Which is why it was so wildly succesful of course, unlike LOTR which got niched as a book Harry Potter was for the masses.
