this is up there with that university that had a blind essay contest for people to write on the topic of black history. no one knew the race of the writers. all submitted voluntarily, anyone in the university could join. the judges didn't know the names or race of anyone who submitted. in the end, they awarded the prize to a white male. the outrage mob had the award (small scholarship) cancelled because this was somehow systemic racism for a white male to write the best essay on black history.
and then the full truth dropped. they only received 6 submissions. all of them were from white males. not a single black person submitted an essay. nothing was stopping blacks from submitting an essay. why didn't even a single one do it?
