Young filmmakers document their colleague's budding online friendship with a young woman and her family which leads to an unexpected series of discoveries.

A man makes friends with a young painter, and her family, and their friends. And then . . .

It'd be really easy for them to take the easy way out and say "This person is an arsehole" or "This person is a scary mental", and you start the film thinking that, but they handle it really well, and you end up pretty sympathetic to her.
