'Spammer' finds a post about his website in an obscure subreddit and messages the mods out of fear of DDOS attacks and witchhunts.

Somebody made a post about a spam account in /r/subredditdrama which got deleted by the writer of the post, but it got automatically re-posted to an other subreddit, with the exact same words and phrasings as the original post, here's a quote to give you an idea:

tldr - Its about a guy who owns multiple subreddits and while he says anyone can post there, its only him that is allowed to post. He submits amazon affiliate links using different accounts and I am sure he makes thousands of dollars doing so. He uses 80+ accounts to deceive people into believing that there are different people submitting in the subreddit. After a couple of weeks of investigating I came with some data that links all his accounts together. The admins seem to not care

The SRD post got deleted but the TRD post (with hardly any traffic) remained intact. Today the mods of TRD receive a message from /u/coconutwaters:

Might want to remove this as it was removed everywhere else by reddit admins for inciting a witchunt, leaking personal information which led to all my client websites getting DDOS'd yesterday.

Does anybody understand what's going on?
