Hi, subscribers, lurkers, and other wonderful bored housewives of the subreddit!

As you know, there is more than one drama subreddit on this website. Our biggest competitor for delicious gossip is /r/SubredditDrama, and we have decided that it is time for this subreddit to rise up as a legitimate competitor for control of the drama on reddit. Right now, SRD holds hegemony with its 50,000+ users, great CSS, and a mod team consisting entirely of sexy hunks, models, and other such second-place finalists for a lead role in Baywatch. /r/drama is a newer subreddit and needs an advantage to level the playing field.

My name is /u/MANBOT_. You might know me from the modlist on /u/SRDBroke, the leading front against SRD oppression. I have been hired by the mod team to help bridge relations between the two subreddits in order to ally ourselves against the SRD menace. SRDBroke is an incredibly professional subreddit which has efficiently and successfully taken down numerous branches of SRD, though I'm not at liberty to explain myself here. We predict that by the end of the third quarter SRD will be so destroyed it will be the first subreddit with negative subscribers. /r/SRDBroke and /r/drama have a mutual interest here, and with our coalition we will more quickly disestablish the drama-archy.

Some changes are being made to the subreddit to display our allegiance.

First, we will be using SRDBroke's CSS to display our alliance. SRDBroke's CSS is vastly superior to any CSS ever used on reddit, far exceeding the dingy stylesheet here. All future subreddits formed by the two of us will use this amazing CSS as well.

Second, we will be making some rule changes. To make the subreddit more welcoming to our friends and siblings from afar, we will be making /r/drama a safe space, free of bigotry and fun. Any undenied privilege will be met with a swift ban. No sexism, ableism, ageism, gingerism, bronyism, commentkarmaism, tulpa-shaming, and cat-owner supremacy is no longer welcome here. Please take this shit to a more lightly-moderated space, like SRSWomen (relatively speaking).

Third, we will be replacing the mod team with drama-SRDBroke co-password accounts. By sharing our accounts, we will show unity without denying our mod privilege unto others. As a moderator of both, my account will remain unchanged.

Fourth, and last, we will be using the No Participation CSS to prevent SRD from ~brigading~ us. This is our only line of defense against people who don't know how to remove the np. from their URL's, and we need everything we've got.

These changes will take place effective immediately. Please refrain from disagreeing, as that would show support for SRD scum and will be met with an immediate ban. Commence praise in the comment section!
