There was a long conversation on IRC about the recent discussion here, I will post a direct link to the whole conversation but I feel that it's kind of intimidating so I will copy paste some interesting parts here first.

(stopscopiesme) sorry to disappoint, but its not looking like that policy is changing. SRD is fickle and has a short memory, but we banned SRS drama in resonse to a meta post REQUESTING such

(stopscopiesme) the megathread itself was problematic. but it did exactly what the modteam wanted, and that was allow more niche drama to get attention
