/r/anarcho_capitalism invades /r/subredditdrama with direct links and open discussion, vote gaming and comment flooding the target thread which is now just over 1,000 comments and climbing

NOTE: THIS THREAD HAS ALSO BEEN TARGETED BY THE ANCAP COMMUNITY.

So. Not sure why. But ok. I guess.

Here is the link to brigade thread pointed here. Link to a screencap of the thread.

New edit: 23 hours in, they have added another brigade link right here in r/drama.

There is a second link targeting another section from here by /u/05a5cabf0016b43d5b53.

Who advocates for mega-corporations to take over our lives free from restraint? These dumb shits. Because dystopian futures don't just belong in the movies - you can make it real by advocating for one to happen right here on reddit!

Where did the 1,000+ comments come from?

Note: All of these are stand alone submissions, leading outright brigades to SRD. I was too lazy to go through threads to catch individual comments that lead to brigades. In other words there are likely more I didn't catch.

Here is the ancap brigade link. They openly discuss the benefits of brigading.

  • /u/splintercell is leading this one. But many, many of the names in there can be found in SRD, too. This was the trigger brigade from which the rest below flowed.

Here is another brigade link from /r/shitstatistssay.

Adding more brigade links as I find them.

Third brigade link, more open discussion of brigading.

  • /u/p80, linking to his own absurd comments. His opponent is at -39. All of a sudden SRD is TOTALLY Ancap and his comment is at +51. /u/throwaway-o comments in the brigade thread and then jumps into brigade as well, showing he participated in both. Same with /u/popular-uprising-, /u/carpspirit. Shameless vote flipping and comment flooding.

Fourth brigade, a link by /u/throwaway-o

  • /u/throwaway-o gives himself a boost to his karma by directing flow to his own comments in-thread. This is the third brigade link I have seen him participating in so far - in other words another user would post the brigade, he would respond in that thread and then charge in to comment flood. This time he lead it himself. Pretty sure he should be shadowbanned for doing this.

Fifth brigade link, these guys are hardcore.

  • /u/lionhearted09, again. Linking to his own comment to boost it. This the third brigade I have seen him in as well.

Sixth brigade link.

  • /u/Jpakolypse. This one targets /u/vroome, again. Vroome's votes have been flipped extremely hard (oh noes, the karmas!) as the ancap's try to bury him, likely because he repeatedly lays the smack down on them. I would not want to debate that guy, he's pretty good. So they are targeting him with a second direct brigade. Anyway, this is the first comment flooding and vote gaming where the OP isn't trying to boost his own comment. Now he's just a regular asshole brigading in another part of the SRD post.

Seventh brigade link. Come on, seven direct links?

  • /u/wadall is brigading and flooding in other parts of the thread.

EDIT: WE DID IT REDDIT! BRAND NEW 8TH AND 9TH BRIGADES IDENTIFIED

Here is the eighth brigade link.

  • /u/carpspirit is another that points, yet again, to his own comment, thoroughly flipping the votes of his opponent /u/redping in thread, who this time identifies the brigade and raises hell because of it.

Ninth brigade link identified.

  • /u/thisdecadesucks calls for a vote brigade on his own comment. Again. This is getting pretty tiresome.

None of them use np links, not like it matters in SRD, but it's the thought that counts. Especially when you pedal a juvenile belief system that makes the "Drunk Paranoid Uncle" idealogy of a sister fucker like Glenn Beck look lucid in comparison.

Which is saying a lot.

Whew. Apparently had to get that off my chest. Anyway, expect the dramawave to continue and this post to become a part of it - downvotes will be flowing in shortly.

Final edit. So I went back and added five brigades and some detail. Apparently the reason why, in my opinion, this is the largest direct brigade SRD has ever seen is that the culture within the ancap community encourages each member to make a post somewhere in reddit, then highlight their own posts at home to which they respond and then jump in to hit the target thread.

Posting one's own comments, as SRD knows, simply encourages more future brigading as the poster is rewarded with karma and comments at home and in the target sub, while his opponent is flipped. In other words, there is a cultural acceptance of brigading there.

I don't know if the admins have seen this, but they should take a long look at this. Condoning it will result in more spectacular brigades like this.
