[Developing] /r/FactualFalcon banned; /pol/ now requesting un-banning; certain Redditor who claims to have connections with the admins appears in ongoing 4chan thread; SRD thread hidden; RedditRequest thread nuked; /r/FactualFinch arises

For those who missed this: /r/FactualFalcon was the creation of certain posters on the /pol/ (Politically Incorrect) board of 4chan. The subreddit hosted memetic images of 'Factual Falcon' — an image template wherein colour-swaps of the SRS logo 'BRD' engage in discussion. The meme started about 4-5 days ago and quickly gained notoriety when /r/FactualFalcon became public, mainly because the SRS logo, an image associated with SRS-style SJW trigger-happy-ism, is now appropriated as an entity that proposes politically incorrect arguments with a strong emphasis on 'factual citations'. Take that as you may.

Their Tumblr is still up for a taste of the meme's modus operandi, though not as updated as /r/FactualFalcon was before it got banned: http://factualfalcon.tumblr.com/

/pol/ is now engaged in requesting the unbanning of the sub, citing that there has been no rule violation, and that the banning of a 'fact-based meme' is akin to 'stifling free speech': http://np.reddit.com/r/redditrequest/comments/1lm2e3/rfactualfalcon_has_been_incorrectly_banned Thread nuked, snapshot: http://i.imgur.com/QjhPRfD.png

SubredditDrama thread on the issue: http://np.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/1lm4u2/developing_rfactualfalcon_banned_pol_now . The thread is now hidden due to '4chan trolls' as per a mod.

Much drama is still going on at /pol/: https://boards.4chan.org/pol/res/19907010 Archive of current thread: https://archive.foolzashit.com/pol/thread/19907010

In particular, a trip-user 'Kai_Daijgoji' claims to have 'got an administrator involved to deal with it' in the 4chan thread. Said 'Kai_Daijgoji' claims to be one of the mods of /r/badhistory , which was one of the many subs that received recent posts of the 'Factual Falcon' meme with content relevant to the sub in question.

/r/FactualFinch arises from the ashes of /r/FactualFalcon.

Edit1: /r/FactualFinch is dead, long live /r/FactFalcon.

Edit2: Admins keep banning new Falcon subs, and new ones keep being created. It's all whack-a-mole now.
