/r/SkinCareAddiction drama pt 2: The rebellion

*edit: the admins have spoken! They stepped in and removed the offending moderators from the subreddit. The rebellion seems to have won. *

So earlier we had the drama thread about mods taking criticism over a cheesy promotional/educational video.

Well, people have been speaking out on the subreddit today over a host of complaints, including users being shadowbanned, comments deleted, potential shilling/product promotion, etc. I don't feel the need to copy/paste all the links in the thread since OP did all the leg work already. But they detail out a nice list of potential shady practices.

A lot of shady stuff has happened with this subreddit recently. I think the community should talk about it.

ieatbugs says she's been receiving death threats over this

Another mod says "Simmer down. I deleted your comments because it was ridiculous finger pointing. Now please continue with the witch hunt." and as you can expect, the replies aren't too happy with the snark.

Corruption? Conspiracy theory bullshit? Just a poorly run subreddit? All those theories and more throughout the thread.
