16k! Welcome newbies, here is the run down of all things r/drama!

We've hit a new subscriber milestone! What a joyous occasion!

We here at r/drama understand that many of you are from SRD, and while that is incredibly unfortunate for us, we are here to help you acclimate yourselves to the rules, and ways of r/drama.

r/Drama is not an SRD replacement sub. We favor off-site drama over Reddit drama since the majority of Reddit drama (that matters) is the byproduct of something more exciting occurring off-site. We want the source of the drama, not just a bunch of nobodies on Reddit arguing about it.

One of the beautiful things about r/drama is that we literally don't moderate anything. It's pretty bitchin, and much like an escaped North Korean, you may find yourself indulging a bit too much in your new found freedoms, and we totally encourage you to do so.

Site wide rules are enforced because we don't want to get canned, but other than that we have no rules pertaining to commenting. If you don't like something someone says then yell at them. Do not whine to us to save you (we will make fun of you). Making up rumors, and shit stirring is completely encouraged.

The best way to keep our wondrous community healthy is by blowing everything out of proportion and making literally everything as dramatic as possible.

It's easy to forget that each subreddit is its own community, and if you want to sit with us, you should familiarize yourself with the following:

  • Posting an NP link will out you as a tourist and you will be ridiculed.

  • Posting to social media is fully encouraged so long as it is a notable figure (whatever that even means?)

  • Pick a flair

  • Reddiquette does not exist.

  • Glitter is awesome.

  • Do not brigade. We have no problems with brigading so far (at least the admins have never said anything about it) so please keep up the good work and keep your shit out of linked threads.

  • All drama in /r/drama can be posted to r/drama, but must also be posted to r/Subredditdrama.

  • You can post drama you are personally involved in.

  • Username mentions are allowed.

  • "Popcorn" is a dead and using popcorn related terminology will out you as a tourist (see above).

  • Posts are only removed if they break site-wide rules, and/or are boring. Asking to have a post removed will result in us stickying it.

  • Posting here obviously means you're stormfront and banned from SRD.

Hope that makes everything clear for everyone!
