CVS Tech goes psycho on patient online. Doesn't know Patient's close friend is CVS/Caremark exec... WOOPS!

I don't know how stupid you have to be to use the name of CVS to post things like this online. The OP was asking about what to do when a bottle of controlled pills was lost, and these were the replies from someone who claimed to be a tech at CVS.

First, he confirmed he worked for CVS in Chicago:

I'm a pharm tech in Chicago - post # 58

I do work for CVS I can tell you that there is no such law in IL-- you can totally have a lost Rx filled here no problem (even C2s like Adderall or Norco). In IL we have the ILPMP which is a database that allows us to check to see if you got a control Rx filled anywhere in the state. It doesn't have anything to do with insurance. - Post #60

Then, he got worse when OP said he takes the "TEVA" generic of a medication, not Mylan

As far as the whole Teva issue goes your doctor has probably decided you're a neurotic, fussy baby for demanding a particular brand. I am not surprised he told you to GTFO . [Get the Fuck Out]

When OP pointed out the evidence about the difference between various medication manufacturers - and even the FDA put our reports on it (and he said the tech hasn't learned that), the tech's reply was just more ire and ignorance:

Go fuck yourself. I'm in school and paying for school with my job. It's what people do. Obviously you're a stuck up piece of shit and I'm glad you're suffering. Please enjoy your withdrawal!

As far as all these issues with brand vs generic vs generic it is nearly always people being crazy and controlling with things like Synthroid to levothyroxine and Coumadin to warfarin, and various topicals being exceptions. And of course the pharmacist will nod their head and agree with you. You're fussy little ding bat and it's easier to placate you than to convince your warped, self involved little mind that it's all the same active ingredient. CVS policy is to give the customers what they want. We don't care and we are interested in trying educate you. Go ahead and be stupid!

And OP you already have a defective mind. I'm sure it was easy for you to convince yourself that you need a special brand since you're such a special snowflake. The placebo effect works on normal people-- just imagine what does to you!

-Laughing and enjoying your pain (Post #63)

OP Returned and posted that he contacted his friend who is in management positions at CVS and posted the following reply from them.

Woops.. The tech should be fired within a week or two. He dropped way too many personal details (not posted here due to Reddit's rules) - but how can you work for a healthcare company and talk to people like that? More information was provided to CVS, and the manager replied once more. There is now "a team working on this matter". I hope I'll be able to update when he's fired.
