/r/relationships just got "jacked" and taken over by /u/TehBVM. It just happened so I'm putting this in simple text post for now so updates can be put in once we know more.
Here is a webcache of his account. Thanks to /u/jagajaazzist.
He is now bragging about it on Twitter. Screenshot. If you scroll down a little you can see he linked to an article about his recent antics. According to the article he's gained control over 70 or so subreddits. These guys have done something like this before. This in another article that lists even more of the subs he's messed with. It contains screenshots of some of the messages he left on each sub. This is another article about him. Apparently he's doing this because a friend of his "hacked" into some gaming subreddits and gave him a shout out, so he's returning the favor on a much grander scale.
Edit: It only happened a few minutes ago and his account has already been suspended.
Edit 2: It's back and the incident hasn't been addressed by the mods yet. But he has. So eloquent.
Links to other relevent drama/info related to his "hacking" spree.
/r/GameofThrones takeover: /r/asoiaf Discusses what he did to /r/GameofThrones. He posted spoilers among faking mod drama and changed the banner to say "GameofTrolls". The mod whose account was used to post this stuff got heavily downvoted before people realized it wasn't her. And the mods from GoT trying to calm everyone down. Some sections of drama from that: 1 2. The admins forced every mod to change their password. Finally, the SRD post about it.
Mod of /r/battlefield brings up when it happened to them. Link to their thread about it. In /r/battlefield_one he changed the CSS to include a bunch of naked men. Sadly I have no screenshot of this just this. I guess it was on accident.
Him bragging about doing the same thing to /r/personalfinance.
Article on the /r/StarWars hack.
There's an /r/OutOfTheLoop post about it happening to /r/pics. Mod of /r/pics admits to using a weak password and on multiple sites. He/She is also the one that allowed him to get into /r/StarWars since they also mod there. Screenshot of /r/pics when it happend. Bonus modlog.
He also got /r/TIFU at one point. This is what he set it to look like.
Another /r/OutoftheLoop post about the whole thing. Minor drama over the definition of "hacked".
He got /r/LSD, /r/autism, and /r/caseyneistat in the same day. Someone didn't take it well.
Screenshot of what happend in /r/cars. Their thread about it. Bonus mod drama at the beginning of the thread.
The /r/csgobetting thread about it. Plus it lists other subreddits that were compromised. WZY responded back on Twitter. Also eloquent.
It looks as if WZY's account was the one that got hacked :( Whoever it was that did that demodded all of us, changed the sidebar, and made the sub private.
He said on Twitter that the mods had begun to flag his CSS so he had to switch it up. And possibly they have begun a notification on his Twitter so they can track his shenanigans. Finally he insinuates he totally working alone.
It looks like /u/Tharis1337 is one of the compromised accounts. Because he's upset it was locked.
A link about why the admins won't change to two-factor authentication.
