The /r/SpaceX mod team experiences a RUD when a junior mod makes an abort call without notifying the rest of the team, setting a senior mod for self-destruct.

I'll let the threads speak for themselves, but a little background.
Two of the mods (/u/Echologic and /u/thevehicledestroyer) are currently in Mexico for a conference that Elon Musk was speaking at. The sub had crowdfunded the cash needed to send the mods there, and they were apparently having a grand old time until the fire nati- I mean /u/watermelon made some mod move that I don't really care enough about to find out.
This pissed Echo off since he wasn't notified, so he blew up on the other mods in their private Slack channel and was summarily demodded. He's also in a hotel room with one of the other top mods, so that has to be one of the more awkward moments in reddit meetup history.
Enjoy!
