Blog dedicated to gossip and drama about hosts (glorified male prostitutes) in Japan puts out a warning that another blog is glamorizing the host/hostess scene. Drama occurs.

In case you're unaware, hosts are men who basically get paid to pretend to carry on friendships and romantic relationships with women. They work in hostess clubs, where women 'buy' them through a strange and kind of complicated ritual involving bottles of alcohol and selecting a primary host and such. Hosts are used primarily by female hostesses and prostitutes, and most of them can also serve as off-the-record prostitutes under the right conditions as well.

Naturally, an underground subculture full of prostitutes, yakuza, weebs, and generally lonely people is going to contain drama, and several blogs have popped up dedicated to documenting it, along with general goings-ons and warnings about abusive hosts. This is the first blog created for this purpose, localized to Kabuki, and it's pretty entertaining (read the host profiles or warnings for some dramu). While it's dead now, it used to be run by a woman who spent a number of years as a hostess, got 'jaded' (read: found a meal ticket and doesn't have to work anymore), and decided to run the blog as a public service or time-waster or whatever. One day, she found a different host blog suggesting that women should sacrifice for their host and decided to vaguepost about it. Trouble ensues:

Eventually OP gets tired of having to defend herself and starts ignoring messages, causing the whole thing to blow over and allowing her to resume spending her time coaching weebs on how to become and pick up prostitutes.
