Someone petitioned to have the abandoned subreddit get a mod and a few people contacted me and told me to apply since all the new material had come from me and I had a wide variety of opinions. So I did. The admis must have looked at the subreddit and saw that I was the only active person on there, and I wasn't just putting a bunch of my own comments on.
So as the mod I made one rule - 'Anyone can post content that may be of interest to radical feminists ' Strangely this infuriates some people because it doesn't set up a 'safe space.' An article or picture simply 'may be of interest' -- so something could be offered that failed. No harm done. But not for some who want to control what everyone else sees.
I have nothing about myself on /r/RadicalFeminism - nothing I have written, no pictures I have taken, or videos, or drawings - and I have plenty of those things on other social media and around Reddit.
So why a person who objected to my modding of /r/RadicalFeminism because she did not like my choice of articles would want to go to two other 'feminist' subreddits and warn people to stay away as a formal Public Service Anouncement because she saw my Halloween Witch costume I don't know. I violated her idea of 'safe spaces' and control of the narrative. The angry woman has a number of her own subreddits where nothing is posted for months, so its not like she is being silenced. She has nothing to say, but wants to control what others have to read and write and post.
So I put the picture in the comments of the Public Service Announcements warning people not to read any articles on /r/RadicalFeminism. If she's going to demonize me, and ban me from responding as people make unfounded allegations against me that lead to people here writing that they want to 'silence' me and call me slurs - I might as well go out as Joan of Arc and be called a witch. In a way I am.

The /r/RadicalFeminism subreddit that I am mod of has no position on anything. The only rule of the sub is that 'Anyone can post content that may be of interest to radical feminists.' That's it. No one has ever been banned. As mod I have never written any article, and I have never posted a comment on /r/RadicalFeminism. The freedom of expression offered to anyone who wants to post is extremely offensive to some people who want 'safe spaces' and to remove articles they don't like. For example Ivanka Trump was traveling by air with her small children when two angry Liberals started to verbally harass her. I posted a libertarian article that said that all women and children deserve the right to be in public without being verbally accosted even if they have unpopular political views. That idea is unacceptable to some people who hate Trump and claim he is Hitler. So I am denounced as a Trump supporter, but I am defending the rights of all women to travel in public. Uber Liberals and Safe Space Feminists demand that everyone follow their plan.

I'm the mod of /r/RadicalFeminism - a lot of passionate responses to my dastardly acts. Let me set a few things straight.
I did not 'take over' a women only subreddit by pretending to be anything. /r/RadicalFeminism was an abandoned subreddit with a mod who had deleted her account. Hardly anyone posted and the articles were a month and two months old when I first posted an article there. I posted a few more articles as days went by - soon most of the articles in the front 25 were from me.
None of the articles or stories on /r/RadicalFeminism are things I have written. I have never commented there. All the ideas are someone elses, and I post plenty of articles that I do not agree with because they are news or an interesting point of view. I am hurting no one by posting news and opinion.
Someone petitioned to have the abandoned subreddit get a mod and a few people contacted me and told me to apply since all the new material had come from me and I had a wide variety of opinions. So I did. The admis must have looked at the subreddit and saw that I was the only active person on there, and I wasn't just putting a bunch of my own comments on.
So as the mod I made one rule - 'Anyone can post content that may be of interest to radical feminists ' Strangely this infuriates some people because it doesn't set up a 'safe space.' An article or picture simply 'may be of interest' -- so something could be offered that failed. No harm done. But not for some who want to control what everyone else sees.
I have nothing about myself on /r/RadicalFeminism - nothing I have written, no pictures I have taken, or videos, or drawings - and I have plenty of those things on other social media and around Reddit.
So why a person who objected to my modding of /r/RadicalFeminism because she did not like my choice of articles would want to go to two other 'feminist' subreddits and warn people to stay away as a formal Public Service Anouncement because she saw my Halloween Witch costume I don't know. I violated her idea of 'safe spaces' and control of the narrative. The angry woman has a number of her own subreddits where nothing is posted for months, so its not like she is being silenced. She has nothing to say, but wants to control what others have to read and write and post.
So I put the picture in the comments of the Public Service Announcements warning people not to read any articles on /r/RadicalFeminism. If she's going to demonize me, and ban me from responding as people make unfounded allegations against me that lead to people here writing that they want to 'silence' me and call me slurs - I might as well go out as Joan of Arc and be called a witch. In a way I am.

The /r/RadicalFeminism subreddit that I am mod of has no position on anything. The only rule of the sub is that 'Anyone can post content that may be of interest to radical feminists.' That's it. No one has ever been banned. As mod I have never written any article, and I have never posted a comment on /r/RadicalFeminism. The freedom of expression offered to anyone who wants to post is extremely offensive to some people who want 'safe spaces' and to remove articles they don't like. For example Ivanka Trump was traveling by air with her small children when two angry Liberals started to verbally harass her. I posted a libertarian article that said that all women and children deserve the right to be in public without being verbally accosted even if they have unpopular political views. That idea is unacceptable to some people who hate Trump and claim he is Hitler. So I am denounced as a Trump supporter, but I am defending the rights of all women to travel in public. Uber Liberals and Safe Space Feminists demand that everyone follow their plan.
