If somebody wakes up one day and says "I hate black/white people, I'm going to commit a hate crime" do you think they look for strong, able-bodied people or do you think they look for vulnerable people?

Uh, no. The main thing I'm thinking about is how this could happen to me, as a disabled person. Secondary to that is my concern that white supremacists will twist this away from it being an attack on a disabled man, and towards it being an attack on a white man. Framing ableism as secondary to crimes like this directly affects my quality of life, it has nothing to do with my politics.
Oh, and yes, I guarantee you it isn't a coincidence that this dude just so happened to be disabled.
