Yeah, black people are more likely to be killed by police. But they also have higher crime rates and are thus more likely to have dangerous interactions with the police. Most people literally believe that police never kill white people.
Statistically, though, police murders aren't significant in any way. Like, 0.0001 x 2.5 is not a significant numerical difference. Civilian murder rates are significantly higher for both races, but even higher are things like car crashes, disease, and suicide. The ideological panic over police shootings (90% of which are justified) is like being horrified at a speck of dirt in room smeared with horse shit.
