Council want to spend £1.8m on a carbuncle, residents react angrily and demand answers, councillors and MSPs duck and dive! Let the shitshow begin!

Quick background. A local authority (Fife Council) fails to consult with communities over a much loved and well used visitor attraction that they want to demolish. Residents learn about the plans and react angrily to the news. Call some public meetings. Councillors make promises and fail to deliver. Residents keep up the pressure and it all explodes with residents, councillors, MSPs, Fife Council, Fife Coast & Countryside Trust all arguing about who to blame and the best way forward.
