Drama in /r/politics already as liberals try really hard to come up with a reason for Trump to have broken his constitutional oath already.

Buzzword is, itself, a buzzword now.

>triggering /r/politics because im not even American and prefer to just watch and laugh as you guys fuck yourselves over

Laughing at people being retards isn't getting triggered, but using triggered in 2017 is pretty uncreative.

Telling N00bie not to use "triggered" is like telling Homer to not yell "D'oh!". It's asking a bit much. And we love her the way she is. Don't ever change, IAN!

It's an incredibly cucked thing to say

I see what you did there.

For those of you getting triggered by these arguments, let me ask you this. Are you really going to hold your political ideology above the facts? You people have finally exposed yourselves as the traitors to the Constitution that you've always been, and I'm finally glad that you've taken off your masks so that the American can finally see your true colors.

^ Guess which side I'm imitating here.

Trick question! You're imitating both!

Yeah, this is a super applicable pasta for either side of the argument, I'm impressed.

Oh god thats a tough one.

American can finally see your true colors.

Their all pink on the inside.

Oh, I know! It's the Green party, right?

No? Damn, this is a hard one.

No refunds.

Well it's either democrats now or republicans 8 years ago

Bull Moose party obviously

Green party obviously

>implying the left has ever cared for the, Constitution

Low effort, under informed, read a book then hang yourself with it

The Whigs.

^ Guess which side I'm imitating here.

Not mine. I'm an uncompromising advocate for the completely disregard of nitpicky technicalities like "Constitutional law".

Extremists

Hey at least he didn't fuck up the oath, like a certain KENYAN MUSLIM president did a while ago!

appropriate username

You're probably the 10th person to make that comment

great job

Son, I get that comment once a day

try harder

Shitpost smarter, not harder.

you should put this on a mug

I would buy it

I love how they have articles by Vox and Mother Jones on their hot page and accepted as actual news and info.

Once someone posts a vox link, you know reason can not win.

Anything that paints Trump in a bad light is news! We are fighting a literal tyrant by bitching about him on reddit!!!

Vox posted an article an hour ago and it definitely wasn't painting his opposition in a better light. But I guess that's not hard to do.

I tried to find the article but now I cant. It was actually one of the few sources acknowledging violence took place in DC.

Why can I not find any good reporting on riots? I heard on (((NPR))) that like 100 people have been arrested and charged with rioting but I want video dammit

There aren't any riots

I literally just heard on NPR that 90+ people have been arrested and will be charged with "rioting"

So now you see the danger in assuming your anecdotal experience is relevant or true, I hope.

I'm sure there are more, but this one paints a definitive picture

https://mobile.twitter.com/BBCBreaking/status/822471093193576449/video/1

Also kinda funny that it's a non-American news outlet.

I'm just amused by how much they're bullying trash cans tbh

Plz no bully. Also that last picture is great.

It was quite amusing, I watched the inauguration stream then finished work and went out for dinner. When I got to the restaurant they had Sky news showing pictures of heavily geared up riot police forming up on lines of millennials.

They haven't eaten in weeks! Every time they go to take a bite of their tendies, they literally start shaking and knock everything on the floor. Without food their brains are slowly decaying to the point where they can't function. In another month they'll all starve to death.

They also regularly put "news" from a company with their candidate's daughter on the board on the front page during the election (The Daily Beast, still hits the front page) and Think Progress is usually there, too.

/r/politics is basically just a leftist circlejerk.

Right now its a salt mine.

They jumped the shark when the posted the ad looking for women who had aborted Trump's children and had it highly upvoted.

Hey, now, this one is from Think Progress. Totally different from Vox and Mother Jones.

Thinkprogress.

That's like the left brain of World News Daily.

Yes, yes it is.

Holy crap, that made me laugh so hard I couldn't breath. Fantastic.

Hahahaha, that lip tremble. Literally shaking.

That glance at the camera LUL

That "Nooooooooooo!" sounds familiar.

It's off this gay robot film.

imagine being an /r/politics user.

just imagine.

There aren't enough antipsychotics in the world

I thought sites like brietbart and townhall weren't allowed on /r/politics, so why the hell is think progress allowed?

Let me explain:

Bias news on the Left= Truth

Bias News on the Right=Fake News

sounds like balanced discourse to me :D

The answer is so obvious that I'm surprised you had to ask: because it is a left-leaning website.

Because it's not racist you fucking white male!

But Brietbart is allowed on /r/politics though, not sure about the other site. Why are you lying?

It didn't used to be, I haven't tried to post anything there in over a year though, so what would I know.

Fucking hell. They sound as bad as the Obama haters did 8 years ago.

The salt will not stop, and they are totally clueless on why they lost. Its not even about trump dems got crushed everywhere

I know I'm so sad I have to live in such a racist country. I cry myself to sleep every night, but every morning I awaken with renewed conviction, that if I call the world racist hard enough, they will change!

Frankly I'm a bit baffled by their haste in trying to get the man impeached. I mean as much as they hate him, his replacement would be a thousand times worse for them.

But Sanders is standing by in his bacta tank ready to be sworn in.

So apparently it's cool to hate foreigners now, as long as they are staying in Trump hotels that is.

To save you a click, this is the actual argument:

The emoluments clause prohibits any person holding a federal office (such as, for example, the presidency) from accepting “any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.” In other words: People in the federal government aren’t allowed to take anything at all from any foreign government entity.

Trump, however, retains ownership of his international business empire as president. And his business empire is taking in a stream of payments from foreign governments — money that ultimately goes into his pockets.
