But he did review a few restaurants and just like trump, a minor thing he did should overshadow all the other shut he did in the 40 years before he became president
Yeah man, every time I try to talk about the accomplishments President Obama had reviewing restaurants, people only want to talk about the drone strikes.
To be fair a huge part of the reason he got elected was because the democrats and republicans spent the previous term in complete gridlock, and both candidates for governor ran pretty dirty campaigns.
When they let him in the debate and the two of them started arguing he basically said "vote for me if you're sick of this" and that swung enough people that he won a plurality.
The same kind of jackass who care what an AV Club editor thinks about politics.
I don't know why people keep going there. The charm wears off after the third or forth AV Club "review" you read where the reviewer misunderstands the obvious joke and/or plot device because they're too busy finding a way to cram this week's twitter political clickbait into a recap of a television show.
I sort of agree, no one likes someone that changes their views. Plus didn't this guy star in an anti-trump video two weeks ago. So this would lead the average person to believe the last 2 weeks seemed so good to this guy that he decided to go from anti- to neutral on trump

Your condescending, contradictory bullshit isn't attractive to anyone except your frothing, basement-dwelling, virgin army.

The only thing good to come out of AV Club is GWAR covering Carry On My Wayward Son.

Every GWAR cover on AV Club is amazing (especially She Bop). Most of the other things are shit.

But not a celebrity one.
n/a SWIMsfriend 2017-02-02
Depends on how you define celebrity
n/a recursive 2017-02-02
True. But he was a senator prior to being a maybe-celebrity restaurant critic.
n/a NuclearSpaceLegos 2017-02-02
??? Obama was a national Senator from Illinois and before that a state Senator. Before he was in public office he was a constitutional law professor.

Ronald Reagan should be the first and last name on any list of "entertainer becomes politician".
n/a Alexlincoln2 2017-02-02
