I am a bot. (Info / Contact)

Warren is my favorite Native American

Tbh mine is Cher

Cher has more plastic than the average Indian Casino.

Cher is the combination of plastic, dyslexia, and stupidity I never knew I needed.

She also flies into a rage whenever someone sends her a cartoon frog.

hi

How's your day been

no

Well fuck you

Mine is Ron Howard.

Mine is Tonto.

to the back of the bus for you fam

I'm guessing we are close to the same age, Tonto was bad ass.

Yeah he was!

Sometimes I sing into my fan to sound like Cher. That is the extent of her novelty.

Do you prefer Lieawatha or Pocahontas?

That actor is actually an Italian.

shit TIL

Is that a macaroni noodle necklace?

Macaroni noodle is redundant you knucklehead.

What is the lefts fascination with women who lie about the dumbest shit? I just don't get it.

So far we've had a fake Indian (Warren), a fake Black (Dolezir), and a fake human (Hillary).

At least the liars might have half a brain in place. Better than Pelosi - "I can't work with President Bush" or Maxine Waters - "Russia invaded Korea".

Pelosi is a first gen Honda ASIMO Robot. That's why she moves/acts so awkwardly.

You're correct. The shoddy workmanship is evident by the way the face is stretched on.

Because the right already has the "men who lie about the dumbest shit" part locked down. Got to get your voters where you can.

The right (men) lie about not being gay or some country has chemical weapons. Those are lies I can get behind.

A white women telling me she feels like a black person on the inside isn't something I can swallow (unlike a load).

lol, I guess you got me there

What about lying about how many people stood in a field to hear your rambling? Good lie or bad one?

Hillary didn't lie, since she's not really sentient. She's a golem that's being animated by a cabal of necromancers.

(((Necromancers)))

Better to lie to get elected and vote for the betterment of your people than be honest when getting elected and be the GOP

Better to lie about your people to get into office so you can vote for the betterment of the people you lied about belong to, or is it some other people? Or is this some sort of weak retort insinuating the left always votes for good and the right votes for bad?

College kids just keep getting dumber.

I'm insinuating that anyone who thinks the GOP is voting for the betterment of anyone other than themselves and their sponsors is retarded, and that the left actually does help poor people and fight discrimination. But please, keep insulting, it makes you look so much smarter.

Your post has fuck all to do with my original comment. You're simply trying to shoehorn your stupid fucking freshman level politics into a conversation. And not even in a funny, sarcastic, or over the top sort of way.

So ya i'm definitely going to insult you for that and in all following retorts.

Fuck you! All I try and do is follow the #1 rule in this sub and you jump all over me!

That's better.

They cant call out fakers without being called a racist or nazi.

Warren didn't really lie, she grew up hearing from her family that they were 1/4 Cherokee or whatever the hell it was. Then later she took a DNA test or something and it turned out it wasn't true.

Does your family not have any local lore or legends? Supposedly my gramps killed a German with his bare hands in the war, but I have no idea how true that is.

Isn't that same shit every American does? It's like claiming they're Irish when their whole experience of Ireland is donating to the IRA and pretending to like Guinness. Guess when your country has no real history you've just got to make some shit up.

She claimed something was true that was false, that is a lie.

She had no reason to continue telling that lie except for financial benefit (education).

Its one thing for someone to claim "to be Irish", it's another when they use that claim to get into college.

You can write that off as a funny family story if you want but I think its bullshit.

I haven't seen any evidence the Cherokee story provided her with any specific financial or educational benefit. If you have such evidence, you should post it here--or better yet, sell it for big bucks to the Trump 2020 opposition research team.

Harvard Law School in the 1990s touted Warren, then a professor in Cambridge, as being "Native American." They singled her out, Warren later acknowledged, because she had listed herself as a minority in an Association of American Law Schools directory. Critics note that she had not done that in her student applications and during her time as a teacher at the University of Texas.

touted Warren, then a professor in Cambridge ... she had not done that in her student applications

So they listed her as Native American when she was already a professor. She didn't claim to be Native American on her applications to get into school.

The cherry picking is real.

It says in the article I linked and the quoted part that she didn't list Native American on one student application (the one to Texas) but she had on others. Which is how Harvard came to have the information.

Otherwise you're insinuating that Harvard made up the lie about Warrens' Native American heritage.

I await your poorly cherry picked retort...

It says in the article I linked and the quoted part that she didn't list Native American on one student application (the one to Texas) but she had on others. Which is how Harvard came to have the information.

No it doesn't say that. Are you capable of reading?

Here's the quote from the article:

Did it play a role in her career?

Harvard Law School in the 1990s touted Warren, then a professor in Cambridge, as being "Native American." They singled her out, Warren later acknowledged, because she had listed herself as a minority in an Association of American Law Schools directory. Critics note that she had not done that in her student applications and during her time as a teacher at the University of Texas.

Warren maintains she never furthered her career by using her heritage to gain advantage.

A directory listing somewhere is not an application.

I'm sure Harvard was super excited to have a supposedly native american prof because of all the extra liberal diversity cred they could claim, but at that point she was already a Harvard professor.

I don't even know what to say other than wow. You ask for proof, it is provided, then you claim that proof simply proves your point even though it actually refutes it.

This brings us to an empasse.

No, really, are you genuinely illiterate? I'm seriously asking here. Your "proof" says the exact opposite of what you're claiming it says.

she had not done that in her student applications and during her time as a teacher at the University of Texas.

How in the fuck do you claim that proves she listed herself as Native American in a school or job application?

Last shot...

In one application (the one to Texas) she didn't claim Native American heritage.

In other applications she did claim Native American heritage.

We know that she claimed it because Harvard picked it up and published it as a fact.

A fact she didn't deny until many years later when called out on the lie.

You're welcome to believe that means she never claimed to be Native American and that it was all made up to slander her but it doesn't change the facts. She claimed to be something she wasn't, benefited from it, and then backed away when called out on her lie.

EOL.

In other applications she did claim Native American heritage.

Where is your evidence for this? Your "proof" doesn't say that at all.

If I find a doctor's note that says "/u/wwyzzerdd did not fake a sick day this week" does that prove that "Every other time /u/wwyzzerdd missed work, it's because he was faking!" ?

We know that she claimed it because Harvard picked it up and published it as a fact.

No we don't. The article you claim is proof says they got that info from some "Association of American Law Schools directory" not from her Harvard application.

You're welcome to believe that means she never claimed to be Native American

Uh, she definitely did claim to be Native American. She thought it was an interesting factoid about herself and her family to be 1/32 Cherokee or some shit.

benefited from it

There's no evidence of this. In fact, the evidence you've presented so far suggests the opposite (she didn't put it on her student applications).

Is it the word "touted" is that what's tripping you up?

This brings us to an empasse.

impasse

Maybe I see what's going on here.

OH boy you got me, I used an "e" (like English) instead of an "i" (like Indian).

She's an idiot. She brings up stuff Sessions said years ago, yet she never once condemned Robert Byrd, the WV senator who was in the KKK. I'm not defending racism, but for fucks sake, pick a stance and stick to it. Don't be such a political ideologue that you blow in the wind like a leaf depending on which side you're on.

And she was rightfully told to shut up, she was violating the rules of the committee. These idiots in government need to follow the rules that are set up for them to follow.

There's a statue of limitations on political options. Byrd passed in decades ago but Sessions still has some years to sweat it out. You also may want to go on on past Byrd's early life section of his Wikipedia page, there are some twists.

Robert Byrd

You mean the guy that did stupid shit while he was young, but became "a champion for civil rights and liberties" per the NAACP? Yeah, that's totally the same as Sessions, the guy who tried to stop blacks from voting and to sneakily segregate schools while Attorney General and who is known for being one of the most anti-LGTBQ senators.

Yeah, Robert Byrd, the racist.

Aaaannndddd....SESSIONS IS CONFIRMED! Let's we those tears, baby!

Thats your only rebuttal?

It's fascinating to me how Trump supporters find the way to be so petty and insecure even when they win.

And I find it fascinating that it wasn't less than a year ago than the left was calling the right "the party of no" and "obstructionist." Yet, in all their hypocrisy the left is doing the same thing. My how the tables have turned and now the Clintonites are the cry babies. To see people literally crying on national TV because their chosen candidate didn't win is quite frankly, a national embarrassment.

Although, looking through your comment history, you seem to only post in politically themed subs so I doubt your ability to think independently is very developed. Don't worry, that's not an insult, most people who vote for a major party (democrat OR republican) can't usually think for themselves.

It's called having multiple accounts man.

The Democrats are in the minority. Even if they say no, they can't do anything about it. Grow up and stop living in the election, start acting like your candidate is now the one in power, because he fucking is. Not our fault if his presidency's first two weeks has been a shitshow.

Grow up and stop living in the election

Says the guy living in political subs. LOL

start acting like your candidate is now the one in power,

Huh, again proving that you have very limited reading comprehension skills. Since you're not smart enough to make an inference from what I stated - Trump isn't/wasn't my candidate. But nice try there, kiddo.

Not our fault if his presidency's first two weeks has been a shitshow

Anyone could have seen that a mile away. Yet your party nominated the most unelectable candidate in history. She lost to Donald Fucking Trump. That's pretty fucking funny.

yet she never once condemned Robert Byrd, the WV senator who was in the KKK.

Hasn't Byrd been dead for years? Seasons is up for confirmation. She probably didn't condemn Jefferson Davis, either.

*Sessions...if you're gonna try to troll, don't be an idiot that can't spell...

Phone autocorrect. I'm not trolling. Byrd really is dead. Sessions really is a hell of a lot more relevant.

Hey! You spelled his name correctly this time! Your prize is defending an idiot who lied about her heritage in order to use it to her benefit!

LOL! You're relying on quotes from a known liar defending herself?!? How funny! Of course she's going to blame her parents for her lies. Good god you're gullible.

I'm glad you're so concerned about lies. I hope you take equally seriously your President's lies about widespread voter fraud.

He's not my guy. I'm not a partisan hack and I think for myself. Something neither Clinton nor Trump supporters know how to do. I vote for who I think would do a good job. In this case neither Clinton nor Trump would have done a good job. So I didn't vote for either one of them. I don't waste my vote like most people do, on one party or another.

I hate it when you guys post to politics and sort by controversial. I always go in there and immediately think, holy shit when did /r/politics become a place of reasonable discourse? Then I realize what you've done.

Nancy Pelosi has a net worth between 42 and 196 million. And the DNC wonder's why they keep losing elections while they sneer at poor folks.
