They finally caved in to the endless stream of non-gamer "celebrities" and added an IRL section. The "creative" section can be kind of good, but IRL is basically a dumpster fire.
Ur not wrong though, i learned how to run a few levels in halo 1 and halo 2 and that shit is dead boring/frustrating, you legit have to have something wrong with you to do it.
I love watching speedrunning and I want to try it but I just know I could never actually do it. If I'm going to spend hours and hours playing games I want to play different games.
it's really frustrating, i can watch them do it when there's nothing else for me to watch, but there's no way i could sit there and play a single player game like that, it's crazy.
And in order to have a competitive time you need to sell your soul to the game and potentially put up with shit that makes the game unplayable. Go look up the fallout new Vegas speedrun at this year's agdq. It's a mess.
