The wife had charges against both Mel and Mitch for domestic reasoms both of which were unfounded and dropped. Pretty sure she does it for the victims compensation available in the area I live. While me and Mel are datingish Mitch messages my sister saying that Mel is a terrible person and to look out for me because of what she's capable of. We stopped seeing eachother later on because it just wasn't really working out not really there with us more of a rebound thing.. a couple weeks no contact I get a message from the wife saying Mel said I'm a terrible mother because my child misbehaves and that she called me all kinds of awful names

These people are giving you sexually transmitted crazymouth. Shut it down. You need to get away from Mitch and Mel. That's your issue.

This subreddit is mainly about making fun of redditors being dramatic and having arguments. It might be better to post your story in another subreddit that helps you and gives you advice for such things like this situation. Maybe like /r/lgbt or /r/casualconversation or something to that effect (maybe also /r/relationships but they are weird a lot of the time.)
