They used youtube editor to cut off the parts I quoted.. there were 30 more seconds where they flipped off their fans. Maybe someone will upload it on youtube soon.
God damn. I used to be a LP fan back in the day (circa 2001 or around then), and while I'm still a bit of a metalhead I do enjoy pop music quite a bit.
I wasn't making fun of the quality of their music. I was trying to point out that it's a very poppy band that doesn't really sound like the typical band from the genre. You could easily find metal purists who would say old LP wasn't metal at all.
Yeah, but that's more of a name of a period in time than a music genre. Anything even remotely heavy, that was popular in the early 00s, was called nu metal. Even if it sounder more like grunge or hard rock than metal. People called Tool 'nu metal' and that band has much more in common with King Crimson or Rush than with any death metal band.

Upvote this! They just cut off the last few seconds of the video, where Chester says: "There's your Hybrid Theory, now shut the fuck up."

Any self respecting music fan dropped them after their 3rd album when they went vanilla pop for no fucking reason.

"10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure, 50% pain, and 100% reason to remember the name".
That song is on every sports clips youtube compilation ever made.

This is just a really shitty song all around.

That's like saying: I used to be a Jason Mraz fan and I still like the blues.

Maybe. But bad metal is still metal, so I stand by what I said :P

I didn't know Linkin Park were still a thing. For me they'll always be just a sad mad band from my childhood.
