I'm almost in disbelief that people aren't aware of all the right wing activist campaigns that do all kinds of astroturfing along with other activities. I mean even Donald trump uses PR services.
PR companies they contract with? Or the activist groups known to use them? Not the most unbiased site but if want to learn more about what conservatives action groups are doing it's a good starting point to look into them . DCI a works for the Republican Party

Someone will say Cambridge Analytica and point to some article making it look like they are developing Skynet. Problem is they just analyse social media, they don't get their hands dirty. I'm sure somebody does, but whoever it is isn't as open about it as CTR et al.
Oh, and spooky Russians who are apparently working at the behest of their adversary.

How did you come to that conclusion? Is the world this black and white to you? I watch other things than anime as well and I recently started watching SAO.

I love anime, but haven't seen a really good anime movie in years except Ghibli movies.
What I'm missing is the kind of detailed artwork of GITS and Akira e.g.
There's plenty of pretty cool tv-shows though. Cowboy bebop and SAO are some of my favorites.
