Mx (title) Mx, usually pronounced /ˈməks/, /ˈmɪks/ or /ˈmʌks/ (miks or muks), is an English-language honorific for use alongside Mr., Ms., etc. that does not indicate gender. It is often the only option for nonbinary people, as well as those who do not wish to reveal their gender.
It's funny how people think 10 year olds are getting sex changes and not just doctor prescribed hormone blockers to delay puberty so they can decide when to transition once their old enough to with medical guidance. Any comment /u/OfficePlumEnglish?

Yea child abuse is funny. Giving hormone "blockers" to a 10 year old, fucking up their endocrine system, is just awesome because some mom really wanted a little girl.
I find people's utter lack of faith in psychiatry depressing. People aren't just walking into hospitals, saying "I want a sex change," and are in the OR in 10 minutes. They undergo rigorous testing and are only passed off by professionals.
Don't know. I fully support the move, despite it not affecting me. My guess is, it may have come across as too sarcastic or caustic and folk read it wrong, or some people are asses; it did actually reach something like +3 before nosediving.
"Being able to tick the box Mx reduces the anxiety that people are put through when faced with the dilemma of only being offered traditional binary titles".

How do you pronounce Mx anyway?

Why bother learning? It's just going to be deemed outdated and offensive next week.

It's mildly amusing people having strong opinions about something they haven't looked into, so ya a bit?

Nurse, this patient is showing all the symptoms of this disease, but it's Y-linked, is the patient male?
Well, doctor, I'm not sure, all their forms say neutral.

"Mister" is the gender-neutral honorific in English, as "he" is the neutral pronoun, unless you're a cat or a boat, then it's "she".
n/a uptotwentycharacters 2017-03-06
Saying "he" is neutral implies that being male is "normal" and being female is "special"
n/a cruelandusual 2017-03-06
Yes, the feminists and transwomen are right about that.

It really doesn't. It's just how Latin-based languages work. Weren't you made to learn Spanish in high school?
