Serious question. Why do all non-white communities care so much about whites? Why do they always measure themselves against whites, and rail against them?
I even see it sometimes in the exmuslim sub, and that's not even an explicitly non-white sub. I don't fucking get this obsession with whites.
You're on reddit, so the majority of people here live in europe and NA, which are white majority, so logically they wanna compare themselves to "the norm" they were brought up in. Its odd but i think thats why.
White people aren't the norm in the United States as much as SJWs make them out to be. There is nothing "normal" about being white. I was orphaned as a child and I'm white. There's nothing normal about my experience because I have white skin.
Imagine if suddenly slightly more advanced aliens landed on Earth. They aren't really hostile. All they want is to get to work, put in some good hours and get home to their alien wife and beautiful alien kids.
They start to use their superior skill set and intelligence to get well-paying jobs and positions of power. Of course this would trigger some defense mechanisms in you. You know already from birth that these aliens are superior to you in every way that matters in the modern world and 'doing your best' won't be enough. Maybe some of the most gifted Earth people can fit in with them, but that takes effort and some good genetics. Since you can't really compete with them you would take pride in even the slightest thing that set you apart.
