The delusion and leech of society aspect of this whole sugar baby shit is bit infuriating. I mean don't get me wrong, the spineless retards willing to blow ten thousand a year on a fake relationship are also pieces of shit, but so are the women. Both parties are just scum.
Prostitutes actually work. It's a degenerate career usually taken up by lowlives, but it involves putting effort and time for a reasonable amount of money. The money they demand, plus any restrictions to protect themselves, makes sense. All transactions occur with clear intent - sex in exchange for money. Most, hopefully, understand that their career isn't respectable and they don't go around showing off on social media sites.
A similar thing for camwhores. They masturbate/have sex on camera, and the more successful ones spend a significant amount of time promoting themselves, brands they're associated with, and the community. Again, most understand that their work isn't respectable, and don't brag about it on social media sites. Apart from a few insane dykes like Jewdank, their demands are relatively reasonable, and all transactions occur with clear intent - "I'm desperate for money and have resorted to selling my body, and you have money." There may be some fake emotion involved with embracing the community, but it's rarely a direct one-on-one interaction, and mostly a thankful tone rather than something built entirely off deceit.
Sugar babies? Forget the vision of a high-end model trying to be a trophy wife. With those people, at least I can slightly respect them for being upfront. "I'm an arm candy for sale, and I'll probably have sex with you for money". They brag about it online, are generally narcissitic, and relationships are based on deceit - but the ones who aren't scum don't try to play mental gymnastics about it. Further, they understand that they're just basically arm candy and they can get away with being leeches because they're undeniably gorgeous.
But this shitty trend that took off like the last 2 years or so? It's far fucking lamer than that - go on any social media site or the actual dating sites, and you'll see how many fucking completely delusional women there are out there. In a buyer's market, you must be seriously delusional to think that a man is going to blow 120k a year on anything but a high-end model. Yet, it's dominated by average women with irredeemably terrible personalities or bunch of fat, ugly, uneducated, boring, stupid people. Single pregnant women, junkies, "entrepreneurs" and just other scum asking for free handouts. "Platonic only, no strings attached, but I'm high maintenance and have high expectations" - yea, because anyone that's not a spineless bitchboy is absolutely going to pay a few thousand to spend an hour with a non-model who has no interest in them.
The combination of being leeches, the unapologetic narcissism, the delusion about their personality/looks/value, the deceitful relationships built on unclear expectations and demands, the holier-than-thou attitudes as if they're somehow better than golddiggers or prostitutes, the fucking braggadocious posts on social media, the expectations of easy money with no work and zero consequences. How the fuck is this an acceptable thing? How the fuck are these people completely shameless?

Anybody who tries to scam resources out of vulnerable, lonely people is a callous, self-involved piece of shit. It doesn't matter if the people susceptible to/targeted by the scams have poor judgment. That makes it even worse because the scammers are intentionally taking advantage of people with problems.

It's not really exploiting. If someone asks for $5 and promises nothing in return, and you pay them, and you don't get anything in return, that's you're fault.
Also, these are sound-minded young adult men. It's not like they're targeting the elderly or something.
