Being against illegal immigration isn't racist, since most Latinos, including many Mexicans, are either born here or immigrated legally.

The guy mentioned in this article either assumes she's here legally, and therefore, has no problem with her, or knows she's here illegally, but decides to behave civilly toward her during class.
