It's no coincidence that r/libertarian is upset that rape apology isn't allowed on civilized subs. Even real life Libertarians nominate a pothead who can't find Syria on the map after he defeats a central american drug dealer/alleged murderer in the primary. But then they turn against him because he believes gay people should be allowed to buy food. Then on the other hand r/socialism can't get enough failed dictators or genocides to defend . They're both failed ideologies. Unfortunately the three prominent ideologies online are libertarians, socialists, and alt rightism.
I wonder if it was a libertarian looking for me to be put under the thumb of an authority figure or if it was a tankie who would later go on to say why Stalin and Mao did nothing wrong and that stack of bodies had it coming.

No it doesn't. Just because someone believes, let's say, women shouldn't be treated the way they are by practitioners of Wahhabism, today's Islam that has only been around since the 18th century, doesn't mean they are a part of the left or liberal side. You can be a caring, compassionate, understanding human being without having to be put in a box and labelled.
My favorite part about Reddit is how I can be in the intellectual top 1% simply because I believe that the Holocaust and Holodomor both happened and were both bad.
