Because apparently not being a commie or a nazi makes you a fence-sitting coward. Reddit has been steadily become more divided politically as a result of echo chambers that either ban or downvote dissenting opinions into oblivion.
Personally I blame Gamergate for starting all of this.
More like leftwingers see them as compromised, weak, corporate or tolerant of bigotry, meanwhile the right never talks about the center (or at least looks like that for US right that is some flavors of mentally challenged).
Radical centrism includes open borders, just saying (see /r/neoliberal and /r/badeconomics, and The Economist, <3). Otherwise you are a center-right edgelord.
Just being a South Park Neutral and yelling people is fun, but not radical centrism per se (golden mean fallacy and all that).
