I agree that they probably aren't doing it with alltruism in mind, but they still are shining a loght on an abiser and exposing him to the World as a piece of shit. So in my view they're still doing the right thing, if for the wrong reasons.

Phil was one of the biggest during the first YouTube pay day wave. He vlogs every day and spends a ridiculous amount of effort maintaining a relationship with his subscriber base.

You can YouTube all you want, but the DiFranco method is significantly more work than some other channels. I hear "pranking" your kids makes some decent ad revenue money for a while, though!

The outrage caused them to be reported. They also change their behavior. Now they are not making the videos they should have kept private if they didn't want other people to get involved in their personal life. A resonable expectation of privacy changes when you openly vlog about your life.
