This isn't strange at all. Sometimes i see people as if they have blonde-bleached hair, but then it turns out later that they had pitch-black hair. It's trippy, but not impossible.
Other times i can see a face in the back of their head, and then when they turn around and show their real face, i see the two faces merge.
