The left has always had some funny beliefs going one regarding GMOs, vaccines, alternative medicine, and nuclear power. Jill Stein wants to get rid of wifi in schools. You can safely assume that if some new climate model came out that was consistent with the data but inconsistent with AGW, they would reject it. Although they're funded by fossil fuel industry, you can even find groups, populated by liberals, opposed to wind power because of the idea that turbines can kill birds.

This case isn't even bad science, though. It's the opposite of science. Telling people that you don't want to communicate with them if they want evidence for your assertions, because their need for evidence is a sign of poor morality... what do you call this?

Most people that won't shut up about global warming are also heavily into global authoritarian dictatorship as the only solution with their final solution of drastic population reduction that makes the Holocaust pale in comparison coupled with preposterous armageddon fantasies.
