Haha what a weirdo. You'd have to be kinda retarded to believe that someone like Anne Hathaway doesn't have a team of PR people to prep her for potential questions before going on a cable morning show, in particular after a highly publicized wardrobe malfunction. What a strange position to take.
It's a little known fact that Victor Hugo actually wrote an "up petticoat" daguerrotype scene into the novel Les Miserable, but it was cut for the two-and-a-half-hour run time of the film.
But I think it's pretty naive to think that these guys don't spend time blah blah blah
Translation: "I'm not capable of comprehending that there are people significantly smarter than myself, so I assume every well spoken celebrity was coached beforehand on a list of talking points."
Of course she had an answer in mind, because she is smarter than the retard host, and they might have even rehearsed it or briefed her on the questions, the way most talk shows do that don't pretend to be news. She's an actress on a press junket, not a politician getting grilled.
Maybe she's smart, maybe she's an idiot. This is the woman who decided to throw a random statement about how anal sex is the most intimate form of love-making, after all. I see no reason to assume that she's particularly clever when it comes to handling the media.
She was almost certainly coached. Anyone who speaks in public is coached, and most in the public eye have PR people, either personally, or associated with their movies/label/publisher.
That's reality. Very few people are particularly bright, and even bright people say and do 'stupid' things when in the limelight.
