His PR team pretty obviously monitors what his base talks about on multiple platforms, how they feed that to him that he doesn't personally see is another different matter. Either way I don't think D or R in a large way wanted comey out despite some rumbling here and then. I mean obama kept him until he retired from the presidency and trump kept him for months while admitting today he would have fired comey no matter what the recommendations he was given, so yeah...
I Donny have any particularly strong political opinions but I worry that 45 might be legitimately retarded. Like, if he had been born two centuries earlier he probably would've been mangled beyond recognition while trying to demonstrate to his slaves that he knows how to fix a cotton gin.
To be honest, nothing has topped his claims on trade yet, all the crazy shit about the f-35, the carriers, the battleships - all of that is nothing compared to his god-awful economic stances.
the reason those are more dangerous is because the vast majority of people are stupid and they confuse wealth with ability, they believe Trump understands economics and trade, but he doesn't.
So when he makes wild economic claims the rubes think it's credible.
That catapult-story is so great because it shows that Donnie clearly wasn't lying when he called Kim Jong Un a "smart cookie". He seems very much inspired by our Dear Leaders tradition of "on-the-spot guidance".

Having someone with a severe learning disability in the oval office sure has made for good drama.

Absolutely. Like, NAFTA is not super favorable for the US, but having a trade war with Canadia would or, God forbid, will, be fucking disastrous.

The US gets more out of NAFTA than Canada does.

Sure, NAFTA is much more about US/Mexico. But we aren't playing tariff- chicken with them right now.
