Because the 6th circuit is stacked full of conservatives justicies? Your right location isn't always a good metric but the 6th is heavily conservatively slanted. Even under that interesting read you provided, with a different statistal analysis then the one that has previously been used, makes a 1.5% spread. Because the 6th circuit is stacked full of conservatives justicies? Your right location isn't always a good metric but the 6th is heavily conservatively slanted. Even under that interesting read you provided, with a different statistal analysis then the one that has previously been used, makes a 1.5% spread. Even with that tiny 1.5% based on your preferred methodology, if your going to call the 9th a "liberal activist" court, any reasonable person could conclude the 6th is a "conservative activist" court. Personally I try to avoiding calling courts "activist courts" for either of them since shocker sometimes people disagree with court ruling and there's a continued a continued appeals process from all circuit courts for a reason. Disagreeing with a ruling isn't a reason to attack individual judges or the judiciary branch. Trump could have done a decently written EO that banned all immigration from those countries and helped himself by not going around ranting how he intended to enforce it as a religious ban while making exceptions for groups he liked. Anyways he said it was for 90 days while he "figured things out" and got "extreme vetting" in place, we're way over that mark no matter the courts opinion so where's his solution or extreme vetting measures? Unless he lied and he really planned it to be permanent.
