I am sorry the definition of cultural appropriation offends you. Maybe read some athropological papers on it, as that's where the concept is from. It's very enlightening.

/u/I_Hate_Disco that's a better argument against anthropology than for "only white people can culturally appropriate".

Also stop shoehorning the word "colonial" everywhere. It's embarrassing.

u/I_Hate_Disco what do you think of other cultures appropriating mayos medicine, science, and technology. I am deeply offended when I see a diverse person appropriating a car.

Haha I'm cultural appropriating internet ya bitch. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

I'm confused. Are we all suppose to get along and love all the people of the world, or are we supposed to stick to ourselves and scream at those different than us? We (unknowingly) had a 1 year old birthday party with tacos and decorations and these cute little mini Sombreros. No one gave a shit and really loved the fresh corn tortillas and Pico. Am I Monster?

It must be a bizarre sort of a machoism to live in the top notch liberal democratic country such as Canada and actively seeking to undermine oneself by pointing out how inadequate you and your community are to the ideals of humanity looked upon enviously by most of the world.

If you are over 12 years old, every time someone tells you how precious you are, you are being condescended to.

And itโ€™s only because you yearn that fucking condescension.

"He has more power than we do in this situation. So it just seems like he just wasn't concerned at all about that power differential, about the way that he was positioned as a white man talking about cultural appropriation which he himself, as far as I know, has not ever experienced."

Weird how the guy with all the power is the one who lost his job.

Cultural appropriation is like an easy mode for fighting sjw.

On hardcore we discuss rape definitions and zoophilia.

On hard it's we discuss lolis and using words like nigger.

A medium example is gender segregated bathrooms and why it's a good thing.

On easy it's cultural appropriation.

Canadians can do only easy those days.

As if I'd let a sjw tell me what to do with my art. Hah!

Why don't we just have segregation? Then no-one can "appropriate" and no ethnicity will be "the most powerful".
