So from what I've gathered from skimming the mod's rant and the comments, a new mod wanted to make long desired changes to the subreddit, but the older mods are afraid of change and didn't want her to do it. Then they got into a neko-fight and the new mod vandalized the sub and ran away. Now the users are using the opportunity to complain about the mods that don't do anything and the mods are in full damage control mode. Good find!
