Buzzword is, itself, a buzzword now.

I am a bot. (Info / Contact)

I like that her PhD is basically in bullshit.

Her parents disowned her.

Are you kidding me? She's a Yale Dean. That's better than becoming 5 doctors and marrying 10 lawyers.

Marrying 10 lawyers would make the divorce a wonder to behold.

i wanna see a this as a movie 10 lawyers lots of things to their names and they all try to get an edge on the other its like the hunger games but legal jargon.

When are these fucking idiots going to realize that it's only a small minority that cares about this shit typically, but when people run around yelling at others about being insensitive, how jokes are offensive, and crying about being politically correct, then

you need to sensitive, not tell offensive jokes, and be politically correct yourself

You can't have it both ways, dipshit.

There's always some guy who's like "They don't even care, it's just crocodile tears!" who will completely miss the point. You're right, most people aren't going to care about someone talking about "white trash" or "white people not knowing the difference between Chinese and Japanese" (although really, you'd have to be white trash to not, this isn't 1956). But they do care when someone gets up on their soapbox about cultural diversity and microaggressions turns out to be a complete hypocrite.

I just use this when I want to see if someone is Japanese.

I ask them their name and see if it's Chinese or Japanese.

Well that's just fucking lazy

What if they are 在日韓国人?

没关系, 不在乎

Wouldn't work now cuz all the heavy metals in China's sewage of an atmosphere

Well that's pretty rude of them.

wat

This is cold.

Like nuclear winter

Or like a distant father's love.

Or like an Asian father's love when you no doctor.

Y u no doctor?

Mine is in the shop.

Yup.

Tfw you don't want to adhere to the shitty culture you've created

I think sometimes stuff actually is offensive amd hurtful but a lot of times is not. So i guess nuance is the answer?

The classism here seems like it'd be pretty hurtful, esp because it's from someone with a Yale PhD and she's talking about less fortunate people just trying to have a nice time out. It's not much different than 'eat here if you like being surrounded by coons' imo. Pretty shitty

Yeah, like i understand white privilege as a concept but it has its limits. A poor white person isn't gonna care much about their white privilege if they literally can't afford something to eat. Also i dont like how she shits on white people just for eating there like she is all fancy.

Very concise.

i think the most blatant moment i have had of being offended over nothing was futurama and a episode where oktoberfest happened still no fecking clue why it offended me but i got really fecking pissed.

That "Yale" thing.

Man she kind of sounds like a cunt.

Nah she's just trying to start a conversation.

there is a thread about this in /r/gamerghazi for some reason

great gem from the clearly sane /u/nosotros_road_sodium

Another thing about the term "white trash": It can be argued that it's an example of white privilege,

Holy fuck Colby's actually making sense in that thread.

Of course, there's country music, shows like Blue Collar TV, romanticization of rural/small town America, etc. - all of which have mainstream acceptance, while hip hop and such are dismissed as "underclass".

Country music is "mainstream" and hip-hop isn't? What fucking universe do these people live in?

Unless they literally live in Mississippi I'm not buying it.

even if they literally live in mississippi there are tons of hip hop artists that are unavoidably huge - the only way they couldn't see this is if they never left their basements and interacted with the scary colored people

My friend bought a cd from the trunk of a car at an Arkansas gas station from an aspiring artist that went by "Mista Gator".

It was pretty decent.

oh i feckin' wish country singers are daddy material 10/10 with great voices. what the feck does hip-hop have.

Once again Ghazi ignores class, in other news water is wet

Reading that conversation nearly gave me a brain aneurysm.

If I went to some other east coast elite school I'd probably say something like "Yalies being Yalies." But I've only ever seen people who went to Harvard or Yale on TV. So uh, I guess this is what they're like.

I did go to an east coast elite school and I can tell you that, yes, they are all colossal faggots who should be guillotined.

/r/yale

It's as bad as it sounds

eh whatever if this tweet doesn't get you fired from your university position then you're all set:

she called a movie cinema’s employees “barely educated morons trying to manage snack orders for the obese and also try to add $7 plus $7.”

Yup. New Haven, alright.

All aboard the "White Trash"-train! JUNE CHUUUUUU

he and some friends searched Chu’s Yelp account after receiving a collegewide email on Jan. 30 in which she announced that she had become “Yelp Elite,” meaning she had been recognized by the website for active participation “well-written reviews, high quality tips, a detailed personal profile, an active voting and complimenting record, and a history of playing well with others,” according to Yelp.

She sent an email to the entire college to brag about becoming yelp elite. Holy crap, what an ego.

Anyway, i'm going to send en email to my entire company to brag about getting a post on the frontpage of reddit once.

Yale dean once championed cultural sensitivity. Then she called people ‘white trash’ on Yelp.

i don't see the contraction

You should focus on delivering the baby and get off of reddit, doctor.

you're mistaking me for a person who thinks a baby dying is a bad thing

SJWs trying to get someone fired for "wrong" opinions.
