Someone logged into his account and did the edit. When /u/spez manipulate those replies in the_donald there was no *. So someone with access to Seth's account went back and edited that reply. Was it an admin using a password reset on his account? Was it a friend or family member that knew the password? Or was it a hacker? Who knows.
Or was it someone with his laptop which was supposedly confiscated after his death which had his password stored on it? That would be the creepy thing.
