I think most if not all of them have some type of mental illness. They just don't want to admit it or get it corrected because that would mean they would lose oppression points for it, and could no longer be entitled to as much.
I mean, there's something to that, I'm sure. Feeling that kind of inferiority is unhealthy. And to what end, ya know? What's the end goal of declaring that you aren't one of the bad whiteys in every conversation that you have with non-white people. How much extra time and weirdness do you think it adds to an otherwise innocuous situation? "Before I ask you this question, you should know that I believe in dismantling the white heteropatriarchy and destroying white supremacy in all forms. Anyway, do you have baby bok choy because I can only find the big ones."
