False flags are always possible, but he has a history of using alts in this manner. A different one of his just got exposed (he used the same username on a different forum).
What if the other ones were "false flags" too? Anyone can search Mike Matei, find old forum accounts associated with that name, and make fake accounts on reddit with the forum account names.
Wouldn't it make it more likely? Why would he make the same mistake of using an old username as an alt a second or third time after the first was already exposed - you'd think he'd learn to try something a little more subtle, or just give up at that point.

Oh, don't get me wrong. Mike Matei is easily the worst thing about Cinemassacre. I avoid anything by them that isn't specifically AVGN. Even watching Mike and James Play is awful because they have the chemistry and sense of humor of a rock.
