Her apology was a PR disaster because it was an admission of wrongdoing. I guess it's really tricky. A company that accidentally poisons people has to offer an apology. But a comic that goes too far in their "comedy" (or whatever the hell this was, it was intentional) should NOT apologize because it was done on purpose. Apologize for WHAT exactly? For being super edgy with what you KNEW would piss off a massive number of people?
I'm not judging what she did in this comment. I'm just saying that if you're going to create some kind of artistic expression then you should own it.
