Have you heard of the new top secret, black budget Reddit project to hide abusive comments?

This was posted a month ago on /r/beta, but I couldn't find a /r/drama thread about it.

/r/beta/comments/6a302m/hide_abusive_comments_feature_enabled/

tl;dr Sometimes people are seeing a "change sensitivity preference" button on some comments, which links to https://www.reddit.com/prefs#hide_abusive_comments (even though there's nothing there, yet)

If you're not one of the lucky one's such as myself who've seen this in the wild, check out this archive thread for an example:

Nah, just like comments collapsed below threshold, it'll be too tempting for everyone to read it. My money's on a drama boom

oh yeah, i've seen this. i thought it was a res feature but i really shouldve been tipped off by the poor implementation it was a reddit original

I've seen it happen FWIW. I complained about it in /r/help, got no info.
