Killer Mike is taking heat for defending Bill Maher, and now says he will counter such negative African American stereotypes by violently punching Maher in the stomach

This is a nice post and all, but I'm guessing that the only reason anyone is even arguing about this because these people believe 3D is superior to 2D.

It's funny two identifiable groups, right now occupying top spots in media and social zeitgeist, are easily offended by mere words and are willing to respond with immediate violence and everyone finds that type of response totally justifiable thus circle jerking the whole bigotry of low expectations to infinity.

“I would’ve punched Bill in his stomach. I would’ve punched Bill in his stomach and said, ‘You sound stupid,’ and we would’ve smoked a joint after,” Mike said. “You know why, because that’s what you do when your white friend does that when you’re 13 and he gets a little too comfortable and says it—you punch your friend in the stomach.”

I don't really see a problem with this.

But Bill's not 13

but he does smoke weed. It all evens out, my friend.

Emotionally he is. Bill has an edgelord mind in a middle-aged body.

People forget he's a comedian but it's understandable because he forgets that he is too.

Idk, punching a grown man in the stomach for his political and free speech just sounds like felony assault

Unless...

Oh please. You fucks like to twist shit up to make your points but when another person tempers their speech it's a fucking crime. If you're friends with someone and they say some stupid shit that is offensive to you, yea you might punch them and say that shit was dumb. It's obviously implied that the wound is not mortal, and it's done within the context of being friends, especially when you're 13 like Killer Mike mentioned.

My head's going to burst this shit is so stupid.

The way you reduce saying that stuff to "political beliefs and free speech" is PRECISELY the definition of politically correct. You obfuscate the situation to the point where no one should dare argue your point.

If you're friends with someone and they say some stupid shit that is offensive to you, yea you might punch them and say that shit was dumb.

I wouldn't announce it to the world and make myself look like a violent, buffoonish stereotype though

If the first thing you do is think of people within the context of being stereotypes, you're already lost my friend.

The world does. I don't think of people in stereotypes, obviously Killer Mike is a very bright guy and goes against the grain and isn't afraid of being bold about it, but all this does is ruin his image and make him look like a brute--threatening violence for speech is always extremely uncouth, and probably one of the few things to really turn the American public against you, from my observation of it

Lol you watched the clip right, and you read the quote? "We would have smoked a joint after" And yet you still want to act like this is some kind of authoritarian threat of physical violence against dissenting political views. Come on man.

... turn the American public against you

So he should have been PC right. That's what you're looking for?

So he should have been PC right. That's what you're looking for?

No, but threatening violence over political opinions always makes you look stupid: Think of what a sheltered jackass Robert De Niro looked like after he said he was going to punch Trump in the mouth

Neither do I, expect the fact that if Killer Mike misses he'd need at least several insulin injections and a nap before he could try again.
